Metal Piercing

Piercing metal is a process used to provide holes, slots and notches with tight tolerances within sheet metal or metal components. Piercing metal provides a clean cut and high output rates often making it a more productive method than drilling or using a laser.

Boker’s, Inc., utilizes a CAD/CAM drawing system, over 70 different punch presses, digital servo feeders and progressive dies to transform sheet metal and metal coils into your most complex metal blanks with piercings. Products are finished on site with services that include machining, heat treating, and plating. Boker’s in-house tooling, with up to 220 ton capacity, enables them to produce metal piercings in thicknesses from .005″ to .190″ and sizes up to 12” x12” flat. Materials include copper, brass, beryllium copper, nickel silver, aluminum, stainless steel and non-metallics.
